
David Dusa
David Dusa is a Hungarian-born, Swedish-raised international film and TV series writer and director. He is the co-founder of Dark Riviera, a Stockholm based intellectual property generator for television, graphic novels and video games. David currently writes on the TV series “A Long Night In Paris”, together with Leora Kamenetzky (“False Flag”, “Fauda”) for TF1 (France) and Keshet (Israel). Also with Leora, he adapts the graphic novel series “Alter Ego” for Mother Production (“Call My Agent”) and Federation Entertainment (“The Bureau”). Together with Norwegian writer Sara Johnsen (“Occupied”, “July 22”, “Vinterkyss”) David develops the teen horror series “Bloodlust”. He is also the head writer on an Untitled TV series for Viaplay. David has previously developed “Intra” for Vendôme Films (“Source Code”) & Baxtory. Based in Beijing from 2012 to 2018, David wrote original scripts for Chinese actor Feng Xiao Yue (“Monga”, “Tiny Times”) as well as adaptations of western films and books for the Chinese market. Previously, David co-wrote with Director’s Guild of America awarded artist Wim Vandekeybus (“Galloping Mind” and “Radical Wrong”). He co-wrote and edited the award winning documentary “The Land of the Enlightened” (Sundance Film Festival). David directed four short films, all awarded internationally (UIP Award) and his feature debut “Flowers of Evil” (Cannes film festival 2010). He was selected by Variety for 10 European Filmmakers to Watch.
