Nordsken LOVES cosplay!

What is cosplay?
Cosplay (Costume Play) involves imitating various characters from movies, TV, games, etc. It is a creative and social activity where people participate in various events, conventions, and gatherings to showcase their costumes and share their passion for their favorite characters. Cosplay can be a way for people to express their love for popular culture, art, and craftsmanship, as well as to create a sense of community with others who share the same interest. At Nordsken, it is definitely one of the most enjoyable and popular features. Several of our visitors come in cosplay, and just observing all the imaginative creations is worth a visit in itself!

There will be cool places to take photos in your cosplay. There will be a Cosplay Runway for children, and we will also have a nerd parade at 3 PM both days where we gather and collectively walk from Sara into town. Thanks to Sparbanken Nord for sponsoring this year’s Cosplay Runway!

Rules
Your weapon must be allowed according to Swedish weapon laws and the law regarding knives and other objects. In the weapon law, it is stated, among other things, that what is said about firearms also applies to inoperable weapons that would be considered firearms in operable condition. It is not allowed to carry a soft airgun at Nordsken. In the law about knives and other objects, it is stated, among other things, that it is forbidden to have knives, stabbing weapons, cutting weapons, and other dangerous objects in public places. Examples of knives that are not allowed may include swords, karate sticks, or sabers. It is also forbidden to have nails, sharp edges, or similar on your cosplay.
